Senior Sales Manager (Asian market)

Job description

  • Acquire clients’ tenders and - with support of proposal team - prepare technically and commercially sound quotations. Coordinate the Sales process between client, business consultant and proposal team.
  • Negotiate (technical and commercial) with client(s), business partners and/or subcontractors.
  • Analyze strategic plans and strengths/weaknesses of the main competitors in the applicable markets.
  • Promote Danieli Corus and familiarize clients with current and future products and services;
  • Build solid long–term relationships with clients and provide after sales services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with managers and representatives of local sales offices and business consultants.
  • Analyze market trends for future products and services and contribute to the Business Plans (short en long term prospects, identifying niche markets, setting Sales budgets)
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences.

Requirements

  • Technical education, at least bachelor level (with diploma).
  • Knowledge of project management and project financing.
  • Fluent in English and preferably a second foreign language (oral and written).
  • Commercial experience (at least five years) as Sales Manager or Account Manager for capital goods.
  • Wide experience (five to ten years) in multi–disciplinary engineering and contracting projects re. construction and renovation of industrial installations.
  • Experience in project financing and investment analysis.
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing market information.
  • Experience in working within different cultures and working independently.
  • Prepared to travel and work internationally.

Global Sales Department

The Danieli Corus Global Sales Department is responsible for the order intake for all of the organisation's operating entities and the entire technology portfolio. From the headquarters in The Netherlands, our staff co–operates with our mother company's Key Account Managers, who are based close to our clients.
